A catch-all email mailbox receives emails sent to invalid email addresses under the very same domain name. For instance, a message sent to the miswritten suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. Thus, you can receive email messages from buddies or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a spelling error or to an old one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at a certain point you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be re-sent to a 3rd-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all email mailbox without difficulty if you have a hosting account with our company. The Email Manager tool in our custom Hepsia hosting Control Panel is feature-rich, yet stunningly user-friendly, and it will enable you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be listed alphabetically in this section and on the right side of each one you will see a small-size "Catch-all" icon. Clicking it once will activate this feature, clicking it once again will disable it. As you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this feature enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all feature can be activated without difficulty in case you’ve got a semi-dedicated server account with our company. All the email addresses that you have created using the domains hosted in the semi-dedicated server account will be listed in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel and you’ll find a tiny logo conveniently situated directly next to each one. With just one single click, you can enable or disable the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choice as long as there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with the option already activated and there isn't enabled email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and activate this option through the context menu that will pop up. If any of the requirements for creating a catch-all mailbox is not answered, our system will let you know, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
