A: If your present web hosting provider can no longer match the demands of your website, or if you experience constant network downtime, or if you are forced to wait for hours for the tech support staff to respond back to you, it might be a smart idea to swap your web hosting provider, i.e. to migrate all the files for your sites along with your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Zona Informatica, we are aware that this can be hard & time–consuming. That’s why we’ll accomplish all that for you for free!Our professional technical team representatives will transfer your site content from your present provider to us. Our technicians have got a lot of experience migrating websites and are able to handle everything – from a common WordPress–based weblog or Joomla^™–based site, to a highly complex, custom–made web app.

A: While we can’t give you an exact time window, because there are a lot of factors, among them the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will try our best to migrate your site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (in case the website content is not large).

A: Yes. We will require the name of the website that you would like us to migrate. We’ll also require a way to log in to your old hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your site.

A: Client privacy is among our main priorities – that’s why, both our payment page and our CP login page are protected with enterprise–class SSL certificates. We employ security measures, which include, but are not limited to: physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard the data that we gather online. And we’ve got a detailed and rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies the types of information that we gather.

A: Nope. Your site will stay visible online during the transfer. As soon as everything is completed on our end, we’ll inform you so that you can preview it and check for any problems. If everything is fine, all you will need to do is update your domain’s DNS settings.

A: While we move your content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the transfer at all. We will not touch base with them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can acquire access to your Control Panel, we’ll be able to transfer your site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source web site management platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
